Pink Vail headquarters will be located at the base of Vail Mountain at Golden Peak. This will allow easy access for our skiers and nonskiers alike! Family friendly themed deck parties, all-day live music, kids tent, costume contest, prizes, Superstar events, great skiing and an incredible setting will once again bring thousands of fun-loving, pink participants together on Vail Mountain. Pink Vail proceeds benefit all patients at Shaw Cancer Center through enhancements to patient care and by funding our Spirit of Survival program, providing all patients the opportunity to receive free exercise training, nutrition coaching, emotional support, massages, acupuncture, outdoor adventures and much more. These unique services can dramatically impact a patient’s quality of life, but are not typically covered by insurance.

Register as an individual, start a team or join a team and ask friends and family to support your fundraising efforts. Personalize your fundraising page: explain why are you getting involved, what is your connection to the cause? The sad truth is that everyone has been touched by cancer. Pink Vail gives us a chance to support local men and women fighting the disease, celebrate survivors, and commemorate those who have lost their battle with cancer.Pink Vail is not just for breast cancer patients. The money raised helps ALL patients at Shaw Cancer Center.
In 2012, the inaugural year of Pink Vail, funds raised exceeded the initial goal by 60%. Feedback was wildly positive, and all funds directly benefited Shaw Cancer Center’s Spirit of Survival program, which includes free fitness classes, nutrition coaching, and emotional support for Shaw’s cancer patients and survivors.
In 2013, participation and funds raised nearly doubled, the momentum continued in 2014, 2015, 2016 and in 2017, Pink Vail numbers hit an all-time high - thanks to almost 3,000 participants, 211 teams, and 400 volunteers, over $800,000 were raised.
Why pink? Pink Vail was started as a fundraising event to support breast cancer, specifically, and has grown and expanded to help ALL patients and survivors at Shaw Cancer Center through enhancements to patient care and by funding our Spirit of Survival program, providing ALL patients the opportunity to receive free exercise training, nutrition coaching, emotional support, massages, acupuncture, outdoor adventures and much more. These unique services can dramatically impact a patient’s quality of life, but are not typically covered by insurance.
