Colors of Courage

We are participating in Pink Vail on Saturday, March 25, 2017 to support The Shaw Regional cancer center and we need your support!

As you know, the Shaw Regional Cancer Center has been a great resource for the Shapiro/Stoffel Family.  Lisa was diagnosed and treated in 2014-2015 for early stage breast cancer at Shaw.  In the spring of 2016, when her father-in-law, Big T was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, Lisa and Tom decided that after his surgery at Stanford Hospital, the quality and proximity of Shaw would enable them to care for him during his recovery from surgery and subsequent chemotherapy.

In addition to the medical care and services at Shaw, Lisa, Big T, and Tom, as their caregiver, receive support services ranging from nutritional counseling, rehabilitative exercise programs, adjunctive therapies such as massage and acupuncture.  These services are provided free of charge thanks to the funds raised through Pink Vail.  Please read Lisa's Pink Vail Page at www.pinkvail.com/lisastoffel for more details.

Our team is named COLORS OF COURAGE as Pink Vail supports ALL CANCER PATIENTS at Shaw coupled with the Shapiro/Stoffel family and their friends have been touched by several different types of cancers -- breast, pancreatic, lung, lymphoma, prostate to name a few.  Each type of cancer has its own COLOR ribbon. Visit www.cancerawareness.org to learn about what color ribbon is identified with each cancer.
