Don't Go It Alone

On Saturday, March 24, 2018, Team Don’t Go It Alone will be participating in Pink Vail to support patients and survivors at Shaw cancer center.  This will be our fourth year and in our first three years, our fantastic team has generated and donated over $75,000 for The Spirit of Survival Programs.
Proceeds benefit all patients at Shaw Cancer Center through enhancements to patient care and by funding the Spirit of Survival program.  This provides all patients the opportunity to receive physical training, nutritional coaching, emotional support, therapeutic massage, acupuncture, outdoor adventures and much more at no cost. These unique services can dramatically impact a patient's quality of life, but are not typically covered by insurance.
Survivorship for me has been an incredible challenge.  In my first year, I had two surgeries and eight chemotherapy treatments but somehow didn’t consider myself a survivor.  Shaw Cancer Center changed all that.  Now, I am approaching four years since diagnosis and I credit Spirit of Survival for much of our success.
Please support Team Don’t Go It Alone in this great cause! To make a donation on my behalf and help me reach my fundraising goal, click on the "Donate Now" button to the right.
If you would like to join us on March 24, then please register to participate.
This event is so much fun, you don't want to miss it!
Thanks for your support!
