100% of the funds raised, stay local for Shaw Regional Cancer Center in Edwards, CO. Proceeds benefit all cancer patients and survivors at Shaw through programs like "Spirit of Survival".  Spirit of Survival’s comprehensive wellness program addresses the physical and emotional effects of cancer, long-term health goals, and the impact of cancer on day-to-day life. Incorporating fitness and recreation, nutrition, a variety of support services, and wellness services, the Spirit of Survival program empowers all survivors to thrive during and after treatment.

No. Participants can ski their hearts out or just chill on a deck and soak in the spring sun. The goal of Pink Vail is to raise funds for Shaw Regional Cancer Center and have fun. If you've got that competitive edge, vie for one of the top individual or team fundraising spots and win incredible prizes!

Just like asking someone to sponsor your walk or run for a summer breast cancer event, you are asking friends and family to sponsor your ski day. Send e-mails, make some calls, and knock on doors—you’ll be amazed at how generously people will support you and this great cause!

To ensure all donations are counted towards team and individuals goals, they must be submitted by 12:00 PM on April 2, 2016. Donations received after 12:00 PM will be accepted, but will not count towards individual or team goals.

Registration is $25/person and includes event credentials (lift tickets not included). Participants are encouraged to raise funds by asking friends and family to sponsor your ski day. The more you raise, the more prizes you are eligible for - and the more our community cancer center benefits.

There is not a limit to the number of people per team. You can have as many as you want. The more the merrier!

Checkpoint Challenge is a fun deck-to-deck ski experience between 10:00AM - 2:00PM. Visit all three themed decks and receive a punch on your credentials for a chance to win great prizes at the end of the day!

The Celebration Ski Down is a great way to end the day. Following the spirited rally, all participants (survivors, friends, family and those skiing in honor of a loved one) are invited to meet at Pink Vail Headquarters to ski down the mountain in a united sea of pink. If you prefer not to ski, take the gondola down to the base of Lionshead and join the celebration, ringing cowbells and cheering as the skiers and snowboarders arrive.

If you sign up as a Pink Vail participant, but don't have a lift ticket or ski pass, you can still be a part of the day. Thanks to our partner, Vail Mountain, we have a limited number of foot passes valid for a ride up and down the Eagle Bahn Gondola. To make sure we have enough passes, you will need to request a pass by emailing us at liz.pyke@vvmc.com or calling (970) 569-7752 by March 27, 2016. On April 2, 2016, stop by the Pink Vail tent at the base of the Eagle Bahn Gondola to pick up your foot pass. Please keep in mind that lift operators will not allow foot passengers to carry any gear (boots, skis, snowboards) on the lift. When you get to the top, check in at Pink Vail Headquarters for your credential and goodies!
