Gretchen Babcock | Rebel Yells

The Rebels will rise and ride again on March 24, 2018!

Once again, our team will be honoring the memory of my husband, Judd Babcock, an original Rebel. Judd was well looked after by the staff at The Shaw Cancer Center and his life and his family's life was so positively effected by the Spirit of Survival program. This program provides all patients the opportunity to receive free exercise training, nutrition coaching, emotional support, massages, acupuncture, outdoor adventures and much more. These unique services can dramatically impact a patient's quality of life, but are not typically covered by insurance.

Our team is getting involved in Pink Vail because we want to support our local cancer center. Join our team! You don't have to be a skier to join the team, there are many ways to participate with us. Complimentary foot traffic tickets are available to our non-skiing team members, so you can join us at Pink Vail Headquarters for costume contest, entertainment and fun!If you can't join us, but would like to support Shaw Regional Cancer Center, please make a donation! Click on the "Donate Now" button to the right. Thanks for your support!

If you would like to join me in my efforts to ski/ride on March 24, then please register to participate. You don't have to be a skier to join me, there are many ways to participate. Those of you who don't ski can volunteer or enjoy the festivities at Pink Vail Headquarters at the base of Vail Mountain at Golden Peak. This event is so much fun, you don't want to miss it!

Pink Vail is the world's biggest ski day to conquer cancer. It is rare for a rural, resort town to provide such comprehensive care, and, truly, Shaw exists because of generous donors, passionate volunteers and talented clinicians who are dedicated to restoring the health of their cancer patients.

Shaw Cancer Center is a service of Vail Health Hospital, a nonprofit 501(c)(3). Shaw is a fully accredited cancer treatment and comprehensive breast center in Edwards, Colorado. For more information, visit Shaw Cancer Center online.
