Marcette Gordon | The Gallegos Corporation - Fight Cancer In All Colors

Hello Friends and Family!

On March 28, I will be skiing with our team THE GALLEGOS CORPORATION – FIGHT CANCER IN EVERY COLOR at Golden Peak for Pink Vail 2020.  This is the world's largest ski day to conquer cancer!  Prior to the big event, both Kyle and I will be fundraising to reach different goals.  Kyle’s goal is to raise $500 and my goal is for $1000.  The money raised at Pink Vail stays local and goes towards patient care and survivorship programs at Shaw Regional Cancer Center.  Shaw is the area's only fully accredited cancer treatment and comprehensive breast center.  We are hoping to make a significant contribution to this cause this year.

Several years back we participated with a team from Brush Creek Elementary.  One of Kyle’s teachers went through treatment during the school year and we witnessed first-hand what a person goes through (good and bad) and how wonderful the Shaw Cancer Center, it’s staff and volunteers are in our Valley.

For the past seven years I have volunteered with bag stuffing, preparation and registration.   Kyle has volunteered for the past six years with attaching credentials to lanyards, unwrapping bells and stuffing goodies in backpacks in preparation for the big event.  He also gets up early each year to help at registration the morning of the event. Pink Vail has become a family tradition and we look forward to raising funds for a good cause, skiing and being part of this amazing day.

We hope you will consider supporting our efforts by making a gift today ($1.00 to $1000.00, any amount will help).
If you are interested in participating in Pink Vail, please visit www.pinkvail.com and join The Gallegos Corporation – Fight Cancer In Every Color.  Otherwise, I hope you'll consider making a donation on our behalf.

Thank you in advance for your time and consideration!

Sincerely,

MARCETTE GORDON AND KYLE WOODWORTH

100% of Pink Vail donations and registration fees benefit all patients at Shaw Cancer Center through enhancements to patient care and patient programming. All Shaw patients, whether male or female, no matter their cancer diagnosis, have the opportunity to benefit from Pink Vail funds throughout their cancer treatment experience and beyond. These unique services can dramatically impact a patient’s quality of life, but are not typically covered by insurance.
