Pink Vail Participant
Mary Lou Armour | Patsy's Pasties
On Saturday, March 16, 2019, once again I will be participating in PINK VAIL to support patients and survivors at our local cancer center and I would appreciate your support. All the proceeds stay right here in Vail and help my local friends and neighbors fighting cancer. This program is not meant to cure cancer - but rather to make the cancer journey easier for those battling it. It helps anyone - men women and kids - that are going through treatment. We have one the highest cancer survival rates in the country - often because of the programs these folks receive here.
Pink Vail is the world's biggest ski day and 100% of Pink Vail donations and registration fees benefit all patients at Shaw Cancer Center through enhancements to patient care and patient programming. All Shaw patients, whether male or female, no matter their cancer diagnosis, have the opportunity to benefit from Pink Vail funds throughout their cancer treatment experience and beyond. These unique services can dramatically impact a patient's quality of life, but are not typically covered by insurance.
It is rare for a rural, resort town to provide such comprehensive care. Shaw exists because of generous donors, passionate volunteers and talented clinicians who are dedicated to restoring the health of their cancer patients.
Please help me support this great cause! To make a donation on my behalf, click on the "Donate Now" button to the right. Does your company offer an employee match program? My team name is Patsy's Pasties. Pat is a wonderful friend and two time breast cancer survivor. I ski that day in her honor, and in remembrance of my family members and friends that have battled cancer.
Thanks for your support!
