Pink Vail Participant
Mary Lou Armour | Patsy's Pasties
On Saturday, March 24, 2018, once again I will be participating in Pink Vail to support patients and survivors at our local cancer center and I would appreciate your support! I do this to honor my family and friends that have battled cancer - Patsy, Barb, Maureen, Anne, Kathy, Kent, Deb, Mary, Gail, Terry and Dave just to name a few.
Pink Vail is the world's biggest SKI day and all proceeds raised help our local cancer patients. Proceeds go directly to patients at the Shaw Cancer Center through enhancements to patient care by funding the Spirit of Survival program. This program provides all patients the opportunity to receive free exercise training, nutrition coaching, emotional support, massages, acupuncture, outdoor adventures and much more. These unique services can dramatically impact a patient's quality of life, but are not typically covered by insurance.
It is rare for a rural, resort town to provide such comprehensive care. Shaw exists because of generous donors, passionate volunteers and talented clinicians who are dedicated to restoring the health of cancer patients.
Please help me support this great cause! To make a donation on my behalf, click on the "Donate Now" button to the right. Or you can find me on the pinkvail.com website by searching Mary Lou Armour.
If you would like to join me in my efforts to ski/ride on March 24, then please register to participate under the team name Patsy's Pasties.
I thank you - and my local friends that benefit from this program thank you, too.
Shaw Cancer Center is a service of Vail Health Hospital, a nonprofit 501(c)(3). Shaw is a fully accredited cancer treatment facility and comprehensive breast center in Edwards, Colorado. For more information, visit Shaw Cancer Center online.
