Robyn Specthrie | Double Stuffed

On Saturday, March 24, 2018, I will be skiing for cancer at  Pink Vail to support patients and survivors at our local cancer center and I need your support!   I am a multiple survivor with a history that has been riddled by my own cancer and those near and dear to me.  I have lost a dog to cancer, Oreo, who the team is named after.   The team name is also a play on mastectomies.    I have lost best friends and close family, over 75 now to some form of cancer.   Everyone has been affected by this disease either directly or indirectly.  I live in the now, trying to create more joy, and live with less fear.   I try to give energy to those people, places and causes that serve the community well.  This is the one cause that I ask for support to ski, ride, or donate to my fundraising efforts.

So please join me in either skiing, riding or supporting me with a donation to this incredible day on Vail Mountain.  We will be skiing and riding for this incredible fundraising event,  the mountain becomes a sea of Pink!  Pink Vail is the world's biggest ski day to conquer cancer. Proceeds benefit all patients at Shaw Cancer Center through enhancements to patient care and by funding the Spirit of Survival program, providing all patients the opportunity to receive free exercise training, nutrition coaching, emotional support, massages, acupuncture, outdoor adventures and much more. These unique services can dramatically impact a patient's quality of life, but are not typically covered by insurance.

It is rare for a rural, resort town to provide such comprehensive care, and, truly, Shaw exists because of generous donors, passionate volunteers and talented clinicians who are dedicated to restoring the health of their cancer patients.

Please support me in this great cause! To make a donation on my behalf and help me reach my fundraising goal, click on the "Donate Now" button to the right.

If you would like to join me in my efforts to ski/ride on March 24, then please register to participate. You don't have to be a skier to join me, there are many ways to participate. Those of you who don't ski can volunteer or enjoy the festivities at Pink Vail Headquarters at the base of Vail Mountain at Golden Peak. This event is so much fun, you don't want to miss it!

Thanks for your support!
